Can Successium assist you achieve your stretgic goals for 2012? (Feb-12)

In 2011 Successium was monopolised by a large full time contract that left little time for other clients. But it is a new year and we're open for business and keen to work with both existing and new clients in 2012 to meet their strategic talent development and career management objectives. We're open for business.

Driving Performance Through Talent Management (May-11)

With talent development and career management central to the service offering of Successium, this executive education course at Harvard Business School was not to be missed. Liz Green's experience of the program, Driving Performance Through Talent Management, was as much about the content and Professors, as it was about meeting a wonderful mix of talent professionals from around the globe. Liz returned to Australia inspired and reinvigorated in her profession.

Leading Change in Complex Organisations (Jun-10)

Considering the volatile mix of dynamics triggering changes in the workplace of our clients, in June 2010, Liz Green flew to Boston to attend an Executive Education program at MIT Sloan School of Management on Leading Change in Complex Organisations. The program presented innovative perspectives on managerial problems and offered practical ways to solve them across organisations, national boundaries, and technical domains.

Strategic Planning Conference (Apr-10)

In April this year we took a few days out of our busy schedule to travel to the gorgeous Hunter Valley to reflect on the year past and plan for the year ahead. As a team we worked together to develop the strategic plan and devise business improvement strategies. Aside from working hard, we were still able to find time to squeeze in a limo tour of the wineries, several trips to Hunter Valley Smelly Cheese Shop, and a treatment at the Golden Door Elysia.

Client Satisfaction Survey (Mar-10)

Ok, so it might not be a special event on the social calender, but the results and feedback from our clients from this year's Client Satisfaction Survey made us feel like celebrating! We were thrilled with the results, and so pleased that as Successium has grown, our team has maintained a service culture of partnership and excellence. Check out the results here.

Fitness Training (Feb-10)

For months now we have been attending yoga on a friday, but we felt there was something missing in our fitness regime. After many weeks of research we discovered Shannon Green of Warrior Performance (and no, he is not a relation of Liz). After an initial comprehesive health assessment we have committed to an 15-week program consisting of personal training on a Monday night. When our muscles stop being sore before the end of the week, we'll know we're getting fitter! http://www.warriorperformance.com.au

Christmas Party (Dec-09)

To celebrate the end of 2009 the Successium team, and their partners, enjoyed a fabulous dinner and even better cocktails at Cruise Bar Restaurant. The pan seared deep sea scallops with a salad of granny smith apple, celeriac, rocket cress & apple balsamic for entree seemed to be the winner, or maybe it was the raspberry gel pappardelle, fresh strawberry, white chocolate, raspberry meringue, vanilla scented mascarpone for dessert. After dinner we found our way to the bar downstairs to dance into the wee hours of the morning. http://www.cruisebar.com.au

Book Launch Party (Nov-09)

Liz Green wrote a book called, Forget the Yellow Brick Road. So to celebrate and officially launch the book Successium threw a party at Kit & Kaboodle. With over 120 guests it was a great night to network and socialise. You can check out the photo album here. If you would like to know more about the book check out http://www.lizgreen.com.au

Melbourne Cup (Nov-09)

On the first Tuesday of November, we all came dressed to the office in our Melbourne Cup attire, fascinators and all. We enjoyed the festivities at Sea Level Restaurant in Cronulla. Some of us were even lucky enough to win some money on the sweeps. We also believe fashions on the field was rigged! http://www.sealevel.com.au

16-weeks of Yoga Classes (Oct-09)

Successium are eight weeks into its Health and Wellbeing program. Every Friday at lunchtime we spend one blissful (and sometimes painful) hour with Nicole of Body Awakenings. At the end of every class we are blessed with 5-minutes of guided meditation, and each week at least one of us successfully falls asleep. Needless to say Friday afternoons tend to be calm and peaceful in the office. http://www.bodyawakenings.com.au

Volleyball and Sushi (Sep-09)

Successium belong to a broader community as we are tennants in a business accelerator called; The SSHED. Regularly there are tennant sport challenges on a Friday and in September it was Volleyball. Jade was deifnitely our Successium volleyball star. The day ended with Successium hosting a Sushi and Japanese Slipper afternoon. From memory, Naomi didn't step far from the table of strawberries and chocolate! http://www.sshed.com.au

L&D Professionals Forum (Sep-09)

Liz and Naomi attended the L&D Professionals forum hosted by Deacon's. The focus of event #9 was boosting your brain through exploring the emerging field of neuroplasticity. This compelling presentation was delivered by Dr Helena Popovic – medical practitioner and expert in peak performance. It was an extremely interesting presentation and the two of us came away with specifically two things we will be implementing at the Successium office; skipping ropes for regular aerobic exercise (even if it's only 3 minutes of skipping down the corridor every hour), and 'How' signs at every desk to activiate our problem solving neurons! http://ldprofessionalsforum.blogspot.com/
